The settings menu in your account is your control center, allowing you to customize your experience and optimize your trading. Here are some key features you can adjust in the settings and how they can help you:

Adjust Slippage

Slippage refers to the difference between the expected price of a trade and the price at which it is actually executed. This can occur due to market volatility or low liquidity.

In settings, you can adjust the slippage tolerance to:

  • Minimize unexpected price changes during transactions.

  • Ensure smoother trades by allowing a small price variance when necessary.

Example: Setting a higher slippage tolerance might help if you're trading in a fast-moving market.

Adjust Secure Speed

The secure speed setting lets you choose how quickly or securely your transactions are processed.

Choose the option that best suits your priorities for speed versus security.

Adjust Quick Buy Amount

Quick buy is a convenient feature that lets you purchase crypto with just a few taps. In settings, you can:

  • Pre-set the default amount for quick buy transactions.

  • Customize the amount to match your typical trading needs.

This saves time and ensures consistency in your purchases.

Advanced Settings

Broadcast Mode

When broadcasting transactions, users can choose between “priority fee,” “JITO only,” or “both” options to optimize for speed and execution.

  • Priority fee adds an extra tip to incentivize faster transaction inclusion by validators.

  • JITO only leverages JITO’s high-performance infrastructure, for efficient and low-latency processing. JITO only transactions are MEV protected for added security but as a result could be slower and more expensive.

  • The both option (recommended) combines a priority fee with JITO routing, ensuring faster confirmation and reliable execution. The fee is split: 30% goes to JITO and 70% goes towards the priority fee.

Fee Mode

  • Max Cap: This option allows you to set a maximum fee you’re willing to pay for the transaction. The actual fee might end up being lower depending on network conditions, but it will never exceed the specified cap.

  • Exact Fee: This option requires you to specify a fixed fee that will be paid for the transaction. It ensures that the fee is precise and unchanging, but it might result in the transaction taking longer or failing if the fee is too low for current network demand.

Why Customize Settings?

Customizing your settings ensures that your experience is tailored to your preferences, trading habits, and security needs. Take a moment to explore the settings menu and make adjustments that work best for you.
